HOW TO MAINTAIN DEEP CYCLE BATTERIES
Items needed for cleaning
1. Distilled water
2. Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
3. Battery Terminal Cleaner brush.
4. Sealant (Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline)
Step 1: Mix your baking Soda (Sodium bicarbonate) and distilled water and get your battery
terminal cleaner brush.
Step 2: Make sure you remove the clamps and connectors before cleaning.
Step 3: Clean the battery
terminals with the mixture of your sodium bicarbonate and distilled water with your battery terminal cleaner brush.
Step 4: Rinse the terminals with water, make sure you coat your metal components with a sealant (Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline) before assembling to avoid corrosion of terminals and cables.
